The iPhone 11 Pro, announced on September 10, 2019 and released on September 20, 2019, was the first iPhone to carry the 'Pro' name. It paired the new Apple A13 Bionic chip with a 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display (1125 x 2436, 458 ppi) and a stainless steel frame, sitting as the compact sibling of the larger 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Its headline feature was the first triple-camera system on an iPhone, adding ultrawide and telephoto lenses alongside the wide camera. New computational photography features included Night mode for low-light shots and Deep Fusion for improved detail. The design introduced a frosted matte glass back and the exclusive Midnight Green color, with IP68 water and dust resistance.
The 11 Pro shipped with iOS 13 (upgradable to iOS 18) and an 18W USB-C fast charger in the box, alongside Qi wireless charging. It launched in 64 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage options. From about $999.
