The iPhone 15 Pro is the compact 6.1-inch member of Apple's late-2023 Pro line, sitting below the larger 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max. It introduced a grade-5 titanium frame in place of the stainless steel used on earlier Pro models, cutting weight to about 187 g, and replaced the Lightning port with USB-C featuring fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) data transfer and DisplayPort output. A new customizable Action button took the place of the long-standing mute switch.

Inside is the Apple A17 Pro, Apple's first 3 nm chip, paired with 8 GB of RAM and a redesigned GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The 6.1-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panel runs ProMotion from 1 to 120 Hz, supports always-on display and peaks at 2000 nits outdoors. The triple rear camera combines a 48 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide and a 12 MP 3x telephoto, alongside a LiDAR scanner; the longer 5x tetraprism telephoto was exclusive to the 15 Pro Max. Video reaches 4K 60fps Dolby Vision with ProRes, Log encoding and external recording over USB-C.

The phone shipped with iOS 17 (upgradable to iOS 26), Dynamic Island, Face ID, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS via satellite, 5G and MagSafe wireless charging, in four titanium finishes. From about $999.
